"I joined Tradewinds in 1997 as a way to introduce my girlfriend to sailing. I had been sailing for over 20 years and had owned 2 boats. I signed up both of us for the full set of lessons. While my girlfriend (now wife) didn't take to sailing as I had hoped, I found the lessons improved my sailing skills and enjoyment immensely.

I met a lot of club members on Butch's Tuesday sailing trips. I continue to belong to the club versus owning my own boat because I just show up and sail for a very reasonable price and Butch takes care of all that "fun" maintaince. Thanks for running a great club."
