Poker Runs
Don't miss this very fun event. Members may bring any friends whom you would like to introduce to the Tradewinds family. Sailing classes are also welcome to participate. Only Sailing Lessons San Francisco Bay school instruction bay area classes club Rentals Learn to sail Women sailingTradewinds members may skipper a boat. After the Poker Run, at 4:00 p.m. in the evening, we will have a Bar-B-Q set up behind the office, where we will flip over the community card and hand out prizes.

How does a Poker Run work? It's a 5 card draw, where the best hand wins. First you come in to the office to sign in and find out where the locations of the other cards are. At the office, you draw your first card. You then go sailing to the other three locations and draw one card at each location. Finally, you come back to the office for the BBQ and we will turn over the final shared card, you should end up with five cards. The highest hand wins.

We have prizes for the top three hands. Ties will be decided by cut of the deck, highest card wins. This should be a event for everyone. What is the cost? Just your time.

Raft-Ups and Flotillas
These are favorite sailing events during the summer months. On our raft-ups, members sail to a selected cove and we raft-up for lunch and socializing. Flotilla events give members the opportunity to sailing with a group to the selected destination.
