Description
The purpose of this course is to teach you the basics of sailing in a 25
foot sailboat. This course provides you with the skills and confidence
to be able to sail a boat by yourself.
Students successfully completing this course will receive ASA certification.
The Basic Keelboat course is approved by the National Association of Boating
Law Administrators (NASBLA) and the U.S. Coast Guard as a recognized
Safe Boating Course. As such, it meets all requirements for mandatory
education and licensing for every state in the United States.

What Boats are Used
In this class, you will sail our Catalina Capri 22s.
When You Complete this Course
Passing this course allows you to reserve the boats used during the
class for sailing in your designated area (color map or grayscale map.) You may also schedule checkouts
for the other boats in this fleet.
* If there are only 3 students in your class, the course will be completed in 3 days, not 4 days.
