Schedule & Crew

This is a two-day, 9am to 5pm course, with three students and one instructor aboard. Includes classroom & on-the-water training.

Description

This course is designed to provide the skills necessary to maneuver a powerboat with a stern drive outboard confidently, competently, and safely. The course introduces basic boat theories, to then be reinforced with on-water practices. The course elements include basic docking and undocking maneuvers, situational assesment and planning, crew communication and passenger safety.

What Boats are Used

In this class, you will learn on our Boston Whaler 17' Montauk with a 90HP Outboard.
